Following the previous media partnership announcement of Bitcoinist, it’s parent media group, NewsBTC, has also been announced as a media partner for the VSC Hackathon. Both Bitcoinist and NewsBTC are sites of NewsBTC Media Group.
NewsBTC was established in 2013 and describes itself as “Your one-stop destination for the latest, unbiased news, analysis, and insights from the world of cryptocurrency.”. It currently has of a following of 60,000 users on X.
The announcement from the VSC team also added:
“This partnership means more coverage, insights, and updates on the innovative projects coming out of the hackathon.”

Both Bitcoinist and NewsBTC sites confirmed this when the VSC Hackathon was added to their event calendar pages. More awareness for the hackathon is certainly good news.
