The very first Vector Smart Chain Hackathon is gearing up to launch already with many developments happening possibly over the next week. So far in preparation a new channel has been opened in the Telegram group for Hackathon related discussion and a project registration form has become available.

“We invite developers, innovators, and creators to showcase their projects on the Vector Smart Chain (VSC) testnet”

Jason Ansell (TeleGRAM)

This hackathon will focus on new projects built on the Vector Smart Chain Testnet. Particularly, the team is hoping to see projects in the AI, NFTs, and DeFi spaces. For the best projects in those categories, there will be prizes awarded.

At current no start and end dates for the hackathon have been announced, nor details on what the prizes may be, so we are holding out for that info. Jason Ansell wrote that additional information, prize structure and submission requirements will be out in the coming days.

As an extra titbit, Jason also mentioned there will be upcoming bug bounty programs for VSC.
