On May 8th, a surprise announcement was made following the CoinMarketCap Integration announcement – a venture into the crypto merchandise industry. Yan Whittaker, co-founder of Vector Smart Chain, introduced both The Crypto Merch Company and a unique set of passive reward NFTs that will accompany the new business.
The Crypto Merch Company will launch in the near future, offering a wide range of crypto-themed products. These will include hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, mugs, posters and more. The Crypto Merch Company will not just be providing Vector Smart Chain gear, it aims to have designs and categories which cover Bitcoin, alt-coins, memes and others.

One special feature of the store mentioned is the ability to buy with crypto. You will be able to connect your wallet to the website and purchase with USDC, as an example.
The company also has plans to work with crypto teams directly to commission their own branded lines through the store.
Something unexpected, however, was the announcement of a limited set of NFTs tied to The Crypto Merch Company. These NFTs, capped at just 100, are created to give owners a passive income opportunity. According to the announcement, 50% of The Crypto Merch Company’s monthly profits will be used to buy VSG. The purchased tokens will then be distributed and claimable to NFT holders.
