A major development in Vector Smart Chain onboarding! Whittaker announced today that BubbleSwap.exchange will enable easy swaps from USDC, USDT and other top ERC20 coins straight to native VSG. No bridging is required!

The VSC onboarding process prior has been slower than desired. Currently, if you were to buy the ERC20 VSG and wanted to trade on-chain, it would require bridging, which could take up to 20 minutes or more. Alternatively, you’d have to buy VSG native on a Centralised Exchange such as MEXC, LBANK, Ascendex which may not be appealing to people who do not wish to use them or are geo-restricted.

Also of benefit to the chain is that BubbleSwap will generate transactions on-chain to facilitate these swaps.
The VSC team continues working towards their goal of making VSC one of the easiest chains to get into. In the same voice note left by Whittaker, he hinted that more ways to get on chain are in the works: “I do believe in the future, not so distant future, we will have the abilities for fiat on-ramping[…] where you can use a credit card to buy native VSG”.
