BESC Migrating to Vector Smart Chain

Massive news for both BESC Exchange & Vector Smart Chain! In February we posted some news about this new “Tier 1” centralised exchange launching in the USA, which would integrate VSC as one of its first integrated chains. Now, on April 9th, BESC LLC has announced they will migrate their official BESC token from Solana to Vector Smart Chain.

This move follows recent price volatility of the BESC token on Solana, amid wider market instability — and the decision to switch chains has been met with strong support from both the BESC and VSC communities.

Brian from BESC LLC acknowledged in the announcement that, while moving to a newer chain “brings some risks”, it “brings huge opportunity and upside”. The BESC team team expressed optimism about the move, citing benefits such as more price stability on a flat fee chain, a close connection to VSC’s active community, and increased visibility through VSC’s marketing efforts. In addition, VSC has offered to double the BESC liquidity pool after the migration, which could significantly improve price stability of the BESC token going forward.

From Vector Smart Chain’s perspective, having a centralized exchange choose to launch its official token on VSC represents a big step toward broader adoption. It also serves as a notable validation of VSC’s growing credibility as a high-performance blockchain ready to support real-world business.

This close partnership between VSC & BESC Exchange also has an added benefit to developers building on Vector Smart Chain, giving them better and easier access to having their tokens listed on a US-based CEX.

Future Developments

The BESC team has not spared a moment since this announcement, suggesting that they are already looking at the potential of what they could build on Vector Smart Chain. The BESC team has already teased a new VSC-based Token Locker today.
