VSC Unpacked - MEXC Listing, Reduced Bridging Fee, Get Money Launch and more

It is all happening right now over at Vector Smart Chain! There have been so many updates and news coming out left, right and center that is been hard to keep up. Since the last unpacked update, there have been 3 token launches which have been for volume moving through the chain.

Let’s unpack some of the latest updates.

MEXC Launch

One of the biggest pieces of news today is that we now have a confirmed date of the MEXC listing of native VSG. The pair will be VSG/USDT and trading will begin January 5th 8am (UTC).

MEXC is a well-known and popular exchange around the world, boasting some 30 million users worldwide. The MEXC integration of VSC will be a huge boost for VSC trading and a boost to all projects launched on the chain. People will have the opportunity to buy native VSG, send to a DEX wallet and immediately start trading tokens on-chain.

This integration will also mean that tokens on VSC will also have the opportunity to list on MEXC as well, providing an easy way to buy into the world of VSC.

MEXC is also running a promotion where you can gain a portion of their reward pool. More details for this are on MEXC.

Bridging Fee Reduction

Some great news for people waiting to bridge their ETH VSG. Whittaker today announced that the bridging fee of 0.01 ETH has now been reduced to 0.007 ETH.

The team will continue endeavouring to reduce this cost, with Whittaker stating: “We will continue to make our network cheaper for entry”.

More VSC Records

Now that several launches have taken place, we’ve seen some of the VSC stats starting to pick up and break some previous records. In the last 24hrs VSC has had over 1,200 transactions, over 5 billion VSG is now on chain and wallets have increased to over 600.

These stats really just show the healthy growth of VSC as it gets used more and more.

Get Money Launch

The VSC launch of Get Money token, a part of the exchange backed by Jason Ansell (co-founder of VSC) has been in the works for a while and we finally have a date for launch.

Get Money token will launch on VSC, January 15th. No time has been released yet.

VSC Added to ChainID.Network

Vector Smart Chain has now been added to the list of networks on chainid.network. This website provides a registry of blockchain networks and their associated network information to make connecting to new networks easier with wallets, such as MetaMask.
